Back on the boat we de-kitted quickly, grabbed the nice hot tea which Dave, the Skipper, handed out and then tried to get comfortable for the bouncy ride back to the shelter of the Needles. We all agreed that the new awning fitted behind the wheelhouse was a major improvement to the boat as it kept out the worst of the weather, providing a much larger sheltered area.
