Latest - 14th January 2008

I've actually cut down on the number of

dates, because it was a struggle to fill the

odd boat last year. Had requests for some

more dives going West as well, so there will

be another road trip :-)

The old White Spirit is gone and we will be using Dave's new Catarmaran. This is not only

a custom built dive boat, but it now carries 12

and has room for accommodaton.

That means a wet tent, is a thing of the past and instead this is gonna be much more like the Tango ones.

Speaking of which, we have two blocks of dates booked. Easter and second May Bank Holiday. Easter is early this year and is designed as a get wet/get into UK diving type

weekend, so nice easy diving and a lot of fun.

Bit different in May as the dives will get increasingly more difficult over the days and the Monday will be a serious dive (40m+). There is a good chance that we will let this go out of the club quite early, so if you have a fave site that you want to do, let me know now.

More? In addition to the West country trip being planned, it's my intention to take advantage of some of the larger shuttles from Swanage and Weymouth. These will not be RHIBS, but decent hardboats. Although they

will still be one trip single dives and best bit is that small groups can still go.

Of course mingled in with that lot will be the usual trips to Vobster and Horsea, so looks like some good diving is going to be had.

Keep watching as i'll update at regular intervals.
