To join us come along to HCO33 at 6.50pm on a Tuesday evening (please
check there is a session via the home page Diary). SUCS is a
popular club and gets oversubscribed. To avoid disappointment it's
a good idea to come say hello at the Sports Fair, if you like what
you see stick your name down ASAP.
Admin
To join we will need some dosh of course and you'll need
to do a bit of form filling and get your picture taken.
Medical
There is also a self-cert medical form, don't worry too much about
this it's just asking some pretty basic questions. If for any reason
you have a condition that the form doesn't like, it doesn't necessarily
mean that you cant dive, just that we have to refer you to a doctor
just in case.
Try-Dives
Naturally forking out a wedge and then finding out that you don't
like it, would be a bit upsetting, so SUCS runs a series of try-dives
at Andarks' pool at Swanick.
You
can go along to one of these, but do take a chance that places may
be gone by the time you've had your splash. Better to join anyway
and on the first pool session if you don't like it, we are happy to
give you a full refund within the first two weeks.
Warsash
Students
As your year starts earlier and you are closer to Andark,
we can arrange a try-dive just for you, but again you need to get
in quick to avoid disapointment.
