Technical Training 2009-2010

Current Courses

Basic Nitrox

SUCS is a 100% Nitrox club and all it's members will have at the very least a basic Nitrox cert as part of their diver training. A few years ago this would have been seen as technical, but in today's diving arena, Nitrox is now seen as mainstream. As the standard mixes of 32% and 36% are taught at entry level they are not included on these pages and in SUCS not considered to be technical as such. If you are after a basic Nitrox course it can be done as part of basic training or a workshop go here.

Planned Technical Training & Tech Dives 2010

February: Sports Mixed Gas (SMG)

March: Advanced Nitrox & Decompression

April: Twinset Course

May: SUCSTech 50m dive on Tango

June: SUCSTech 50m dive on Wight Spirit

July: Sports Mixed Gas (SMG)

August: SUCStech 50m dive TBA

Non-BSAC & CCR Training/Dives

While we teach BSAC technical courses, we have been multi-agency for some years and can facilitate professional instruction from our TDI & IANTD friends. If you require any particular course, just ask.

SUCS welcomes divers from any agency using any unit on it's dives, but as most training is unit specific, such training is outside the scope of our current training programme. That doesnt mean we are not CCR friendly, we like them :-) and always intergrate the odd box on our dives.
