On the way

Nic is now a BSAC Theory Instructor and that means he can start doing lectures. Thats fine for the winter, but OWI is calling for 2010 :-) Well done Nic for jumping the first hurdle, but get your name on the OWIC!. 20.11.09

Better Make that Three Yes, yet another SUCS Alumni gets PADI OWSI and joins the ranks of professional dive Instructors. Congratulatios to Sian on completing both DM & OWSI in Malta. 20.11.09

Another SUCS Alumni makes Instructor Hot on the heels of James C's DM, Dave Clarke has now completed his IE and becomes a full Instructor as a PADI OWSI and because he did his BSAC IFC, he get's BSAC OWI as well. Time to get the rum out Dave!! 4.10.09

A big up to James C

Yes our ex-Jeff, who has been doing an internship in Lanzarote, has joined the ranks of the scuba pros by becoming a PADI Divemaster, so a well done to James. 6.09.09

SUCS Gains 2 New Trimix Instructors Well we've been working on it for a bit, but SUCS in the form of Phil & Tel, can now run the new Sports Mix Gas course and will be offering it to suitably qualified divers & new members as of now. 24.08.09

And the first cert of the Lanz Ocean Group gets handed out. Congrats to Lina who is now a BSAC Ocean Diver

First Lanz Qualification

Lanz2010

Was it good? Well what do you think?

Compiling pics now, so saving details for a special webpage and gallery.

More Stuff

Tel, James & George Brookes Heinke Trophy Judge

Phil, Tel, Roger & James went to the Diving Officer's Conference held at the University of London, to accept a commendation for our Heinke Trophy entry. The certificate was accepted on behalf of SUCS on stage in front of over 500 delegates from clubs all over the UK.

Where is Mike?

No idea what the collective noun is for Santas, but here are 120 of them including Mike & Chris ready to brave the icy waters of Vobster for the Scuba Santas event on Dec 20th.

Izzy became the first of the new November intake to acheive diver status and is already looking forward to using her Ocean Diver cert.
